That's stupid. Has anyone actually died as a result of coming into contact with these angels?

I did, a few hours after I encountered one of them. Seeing as I normally do not spontaneously die, I can only assume that the angel statues have something to do with it. [ ... ] That, and the conversations going over phone seem to support the idea.
