(no subject)
Back. sooner than expected. Didn't get nearly all I wanted to do done. Two reasons... first, Genius!Me (yeah, right) brought Mastermind, and forgot the AC cord. Swuft, that, don'tcha think? second, HM is less responsible than I normally am, despite random forays into irresponsibility. Since Nuri called to say that HM couldn't pick Chibermonkey up from his friend's on time, and HM chose not to answer his phone, I ended up hitting the road early.
I did, however, spread wildflower seeds on a small patch that grass has decided to shun, in hopes of ground cover (hummingbird/butterfly mix). And I watched some vidstuff, and wrote a LITTLE... though my inspiration was from other things, so that's another WIP. *hangs head* Oh, and vegged with some wine.
Lesson learned: not all package stores are alike, but they really SHOULD have someone who knows about the product in the various sections. Damn, I'm spoiled having Samuel at the one I normally use for my beverage needs. heh. There are other things I learned as a result of my short detour, but they're even less important than that one, in the real scheme of things. ^_^
It would be nice if cellular signals were more cooperative when driving on those roads, but one can't have it all. The scenery... and the thoughts I was getting from it... made up for it.
