food recap 10/18

HEY GUYS LET'S DO A FOOD RECAP. HAVEN'T DONE THAT IN ABOUT A BAJILLION YEARS.

Breakfast: maple and brown sugar oatmeal
Lunch: leftover kosher-style "clam" chowder, Chobani non-fat Greek yogurt (pomegranate)
Snack: Special K cereal bar (strawberry), two slices Land-o-Lakes 2% American cheese
Dinner: lentil and mixed vegetable curry over steamed white rice, Edy's Fruit Bar (strawberry-kiwi)*

Exercise: 25 minutes on an exercise bike, 20 minutes of weights, 10 minutes stretching (total: ~1 hour)

Yesterday was my little sister's birthday! She turned 17, which makes me feel REALLY RIDICULOUSLY OLD. But I'm going to see her tonight, so that will be nice.

I had to seriously resist the urge to weigh myself yesterday. I didn't weigh in last week (lady things) and ate badly over the weekend (aforementioned 10pm trip to IHOP), and I'm worried that I will have gained since my last weigh in. I'm convincing myself to wait until my usual weigh-in on Friday, but I am hoping so so hard to be under 145. Please please please, body, do this thing for me. I need to see progress, or I get really down in the dumps.

Anyway, hey kids. I miss you. Tell me about your lives!

* I really recommend these. They're something like 50 calories a piece and sugar-free, and great if you're craving something cold and sweet but don't want the fat and calories that comes with ice cream. Instant satisfaction!
