2008 was a very special year for me for obvious reasons.
It was such a special year that my wonderful hubby felt the need to complete my holy trinity for Christmas..
-My first Tiffany's
-My first diamond
-My first Louis Vuitton
(I asked for a Guess watch)
On our first outing after Christmas, he told me that I now look like a proper lady :)
On the other hand, I spent the last month of 2008 acquainting myself with Gastroenteritis (where the toilet and a plastic bag becomes your best friend).. twice.. two weeks apart. I have never puked and pooped out to that degree, I actually pulled a chest muscle and felt hollow inside for all of December.
and now the rumor mill has evolved from "is she?" to "how far along is she?".
Apparently, when you're a female newlywed, you can't even call in sick without being pregnant.
I'm mildly amused.
On a more positive note, I am now able to eat and digest like a cow, so all is well.
and NO. Although I look forward to motherhood in all its glory in a year or two, I'm not pregnant yet. and YES. My parents are disappointed.
