Personal HistorySeung Kuen was born in Korea to wealthy parents. Growing up, he never had to want for anything. Upon finishing college, he met and fell in love with a poor waitress named Dae. Dae was struggling to just survive, and was glad to except any and all help she could get, so of course when Seung asked her to date him, she readily agreed. Never thinking she would actually fall in love with him, she dated him for four years, and gradually over time fell in love with him. They were married on June 15th, 1989. Several years later, Seung, who was working as a chemical engineer in Korea, received a job offer that he just couldn’t refuse. The only bad part about the job was that it required the pair move to Ireland. After discussing it with Dae, they packed up all their belongings and moved. After living in Ireland for around a year or so, Dae was blessed enough to become pregnant. Nine months later after a completely normal pregnancy, Sascha Deneen Kuen was born. However, one thing that they found out after Sascha's birth was that she had a mild case of Spina Bifida. The new born was rushed immediately into surgery, to repair her spinal cord, and to stop any resulting nerve damage. The surgery was a success, and Sascha was allowed to go home two weeks later. Although her Spina Bifida was caught early, it still had a few lasting side effects. For instance, she can't keep up physical activity for extended periods of time, always making her the last person to be chosen in her primary school's physical education class, causing other children to make fun of her for not being able to play as long as them, and general discomfort where ever physical activity is concerned. Sascha was always the ideal child. From age 2 up, she always did as her parents said, and hardly ever defied them. When asked to clean her room, she did. When asked to feed the family dog, Suchee, she did. She was very social, and polite to everyone, no matter how cruel they could be to her. Being a hard worker, Sascha received good grades, even if she didn’t completely understand the material. A favorite with teachers, extra credit was always available to her if needed. Her parents, who felt that everyone needed the chance to defend themselves, enrolled her in martial arts. Well, something that came as a surprise to everyone, even herself, was that she was actually good at it. Even when her back started hurting she would put on a brave face, and try to keep up. She often fell behind the rest of the class, and had to take constant breaks, but she refused to give up, and kept up her training sessions. She would take extra classes with her teacher, to try to keep up. But, about a year after she started her training, she had to give it up. It was just too much for her to handle, and it was causing her to be in constant pain. She finally broke down and told her parents, and they pulled her out of the class. Around the age of eight, something happened that would change Sascha’s life forever. She threw a rock…without picking it up. She was outside, lounging, when a huge stray dog came up to her. The dog looked scary, and like it could swallow her whole in one gulp. So, without knowing what was going on, she just looked a fairly big rock that was lying in the garden, and it just sorta zoomed after the beast. From that point on, she knew that she was different. Every summer she spent a month in the United Kingdom, High Wycombe, to be exact, with her paternal grandmother, who had moved for Korea after her grandfather died. Sascha is very close to her, and felt that she was the only one she could tell about this....miracle that had happened. Her grandmother, believing highly in old Korean superstition, knew that her grand-daughter wasn't your normal child. But, Sascha begged her not to tell her parents, and she finally gave up and said that she wouldn't. While in High Wycombe, she made friends with the locals, and both hated and loved to see the end of the summer come. She knew that something wasn’t right, so it was no surprise to her when she received her letter from Hogwarts, although her parents refused to believe it at first. Thinking back, she wished that she would have told her parents about the dog incident, but just decided they wouldn’t have believed it then any more than they did now. Somehow, either through luck or through destiny, she convinced her parents to take her to Diagon Alley. It was quite an experience for the whole family. But, somehow they all survived, and on the day she finally left, she hung out of a train compartment window, waving tearfully at her parents. A new adventure awaiting her. Her first 3 years at Hogwarts passed normally enough. She was sorted in Hufflepuff and went through the normal teenage witch’s routine: Relationships, teachers, classes, arguments, injury, and the like. BUT, one thing she discovered while there: Quidditch. From the first training session they received, Sascha was in love. She loved the feeling of soaring through the sky. Once again, her health problems showed themselves. She found that the way that she sat on the broom (which, is basically the ONLY way to sit on a broom) made her back start to ache. All hopes that she had of maybe someday being on the quidditch team where smashed, and she had to settle for just cheering on the Hufflepuff team. Thus, she dove into her studies, and she continued to do well in most of her classes, and found that she had a natural knack for Care of Magical Creatures. It soon became one of her dreams to be a creature handler, though she knew the road was not going to be easy. Handling could get pretty strenuous, but, she was going to try her best. She is often times found at the animal pens on the ground, looking after the animals. Sascha is known throughout the castle for being loud and hyperactive. Her motto is that if she can't enjoy life, and be bubbly and nice and a little crazy, then why live at all?

Personality:Sascha is a very hard worker. Once she sets her mind to a task, she cannot/will not give up until said task is completed. Never one to shy away from talking, she is very social. If she has never before seen you in her life, she will still go up and talk to you, joke around, and try to have a good time. Outgoing as can be, she has been known to explore the castle and grounds, looking for fun. Being extremely hyper, she is always doing something, whether it be putting up decorations in the common room, or making posters for the many clubs she is in. Full of school spirit, she tries to do everything she can to help, even if she cannot. Although she may not be bright like most of the Ravenclaws, she studies hard, and makes good marks. Sascha is hardly ever timid, and makes rash decision more often then not. Never one to play on the cautious side, she acts first, and thinks later. She is also very loyal. If pressed, she would say that is her most prominent quality. Once she considers you a friend, (which isn't that big of a challenge) she will always be by your side. Her friends are a huge part of her life, and when you mess with them, you'll hear it from her. Sascha, for the most part, is honest. Unless, of course, it involves rumours and gossip. That is where her honesty fails her. It is one of her biggest weaknesses. She tends to spread rumors, and even start them if she has a reason. But, none of that stops her. She is still vibrant and full of life. Over all, she is a very happy person, fun to be around, and a lover of life. Her outlook on life is bright, and her problems don't slow her down.

Bugger, she thought as she walked out of Professor McGonagall's office. It’s not like what I did was horribly bad! At least, that’s what she liked to tell herself. In actuality, what she did was rather bad, even if she did it for a good reason. All she wanted Hufflepuff to do was win the quidditch match, and that wasn’t a bad thing, right? How was she supposed to know that making signs that screamed when the Gryffindors got near their goal posts and having her friends hold them would be distracting? It really wasn’t her fault that the silly chaser was a tad bit jumpy, and fell of his broom. Not that he got hurt terribly bad or anything! The nurse fixed him up right good and everything! But, now that she was banned from making the signs, she would have to think of something else. As she entered the Hufflepuff Common Room, an idea popped in her head. Dungbombs….
