monday morning
okay, i'm really liking prince's new song black sweat, i like the rhythm. not my usual taste in music, but that's what makes my taste so funky - it's ecletic.
i slept in this morning, ehhhh... i'm going down for my modern class and my costume design class, then i go to my first day of work at Zeek's. it's just a couple of hours, i'm still in the training phase. i need to do some reading for chinese history this morning, so i don't have to worry about it later. this week is going to be both long and then over before i know it.
i bought memoirs of a geisha on dvd yesterday and watched it last night. while visually it's gorgeous, its definetely a case of the book being better. the characters aren't very well defined, and it makes sense to me mostly because i've read the book about a million times. if i was watching this without having read the book, then it would be a bit more confusing. and they leave out my favorite part of the book... sadly my book is now packed away, i have the urge to read it again...
