The only show I actually watch in the summer is SYTYCD, and with that over I've been randomly trying out new shows online. I figure it gives me time to catch up on anything before fall seasons start. My newest picks:
1. Supernatural - Yes, I am years behind all the cool kids on this one, but that's OK I suppose. It means I was able to watch both seasons as quickly as I wanted to without the horrible fate of waiting weeks and even months between episodes.
2. The Office (US) - I've owned the British series for quite a while now, but after watching the first US episode back when it first came on I swore off the new version. It all felt TOO similar. I clearly got over that and now own S1 & 2 and have watched the majority of S3. Jim and Dwight never fail to bring a smile to my face.
3. Bones - I had never seen an episode of this before, but all of them were available easily online so I figured 'why not?'. (In actuality, the fact that
ava_leigh_fitz wrote fic for the fandom made me believe that it was at least worth trying out and now I am even more indebted to her than before.)
4. Eureka - This apparently only runs on the Sci-Fi channel in the US, but TV online truly is a joy and a blessing because I feel like I'd really be missing out if I'd never seen any of this show. I'm only partway through the first season, but I think this will end up being a DVD purchase :) Fantastically funny and smart and quirky. Why is it that so many fantastic characters are named Jack? (Bauer, Bristow, and now Carter)
5. Burn Notice - Again, no Canadian run for this one, and availability online seems to be spotty at best, but I really really like this show too. And hee, everytime I find a new episode I think of Jenai :)
