THE RULES:
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
1. When you're dancing, what's running through your mind? The next steps? Or is there more....?
That really depends on the piece I'm doing. Of course in class I'm mostly thinking of doing something right that I did wrong the time before, but on stage it's always different. During new pieces sometimes I think about the steps (especially if there's one I always mess up or a transition I always miss). During older, more familiar or easier pieces I'm usually either thinking about the expression, nuances and little technical things or, in a very rare case, I'm not thinking at all, just feeling the music. The last dance I ever performed in competition was a pointe solo last year and I honestly don't remember one minute of stage time. I got off and just felt good. That seems to only happen when I have an amazing performance.
2. Favorite ice cream flavor?
My former favourite was the daiquiri sorbet that B&R used to have. Alas, they don't make it anymore. Now it's probably coffee.
3. When it comes to guys, do you have set "ideal" in terms of appearance?
Hmm.. Not really. I naturally find myself drawn to (and more likely to talk to) guys a bit taller than me with dark hair, but I'm not really all that stuck on a 'type'.
4. Which Alias fic made the biggest impression on you and why?
Most surely
All The Things by Kat. There are a ton of other stories that I adore with all my heart, (
Running,
grafittiand
Say What? along with many more, but it was the first Alias fic to make me cry. I can remember reading it the first time and getting to the list at the very end and being amazed that I could get so emotional in the time it took me to read the 2000 words it is.
I tried at first to explain why I love this story so much but I just couldn't do it. *sigh*
Item 197: I never gave enough time to finding out whether or not I was in love with Michael Vaughn.
Item 198: But I am waiting for him.
Item 199: I am standing by the door.
Item 200: And I am not pregnant.
That's why I love this story.
5. Have you seen that dance movie "The Company" (starring Neve Campbell) yet? Do you want to see it (if you haven't as of yet)....?
I haven't seen it yet, but I can't wait to. Anytime the
Joffrey is involved in something, it's worth taking a look at :)
