Planning ahead
Merlin's beard! 2 days without internet access is not good, especially when online homework is due. Someone most likely much smarter than me stole my IP address. It took someone just as smart, my roommate majoring in CS, to fix the problem... I wouldn't be surprised if he stole it since he's done it before to my other roommates.
It's late, but I can't sleep. I ran some time past midnight and have had Last Kiss by Pearl Jam on repeat since then... maybe that's why. I plan to run some more this spring break in two 5K's. It shouldn't be too hard to run a pr compared to my XC season times (18:11). When I beat 18:11, then I know I'm golden. Now that I've settled into a routine aka my zone aka psychologically charged reinforced drive for vitality, I should be able to get back to my former shape in no time.
Along with 5K's to look forward too, I now have something to get involved with on campus that I actually care about. Forget SGA or those other "looks good on your resume" organizations, they won't be any fun and I have no motivation for them. Instead, thanks to Tart, I hope to become involved in Tech's Relay for Life. I know I'll be a volunteer for it and hopefully a team captain if I recruit enough people to form a team. From there, I think I'll try for a committee position.
And one more thing. I'm very flaky about my major, but I'm feeling good about heading in the direction of Building Construction. Unfortunately it requires a year of architorture classes, but how hard could that be...?
