Things just keep getting better
It's official. I am no longer going to England.
I am going to England AND France!! ::does a little jig:: Oh, how lucky can one gal get? But now I just need to go looking for a really good camera and some new clothes for the trip. Oh, yeah, and a friggin' job!! The search for a part-time employment opportunity has proven to be a grueling one. The Dunkin' Donuts by me's line has been busy for the past 4 days that I know of so I'm just going to ask my mom if she can swing me by there. I just updated my electronic application at Publix on their little computer system so we'll see if we ever hear from them. I've been online for a cumulative total of maybe 3 hrs looking for jobs, but turned up nothing in my general area (within driving distance).
And to make problems worse: the American dollar's worth in English £ has dropped. I was not too thrilled about that. Now, even more so, I need a job. I'll be away for 2 wks so maybe 500 dollars(??)I'll need to earn.
I was talking to the friend that I'm going away with and she was telling me all the things we were going to do. We're going to all the art museums which has got me SOOOOO excited. My moms friend who lives in Amsterdam is gonna come and see me, too, possibly. She's such an awesome person and one of my mom's closest friends. And she makes the best Surinamese food. We'll go sightseeing as well. Other than that I don't know what else we'll be doing, but I was enticed by just the museum part.
