Writing group?
Would anyone on Livejournal be interested in a tight-knit writing group? I'm looking for a way to get more motivated with my writing and I realized that the reason Nanowrimo is so effective is because other people are with you. I've created two writing groups in my lifetime - one in high school that crashed and burned, and one in college that crashed and burned - and I don't really want this idea to go sour if I start it.
What I want is a completely private, password protected writing website for excerpts and chapters that others can comment on. It'll probably use something like Wordpress, but it'll be closed to non-logged in users. Anyone interested would be a member, and you can post your stuff, and then others can comment so that we can 1) get better and 2) be motivated. It'll be totally private so if you're concerned about first publishing rights that won't be an issue. If you're interested, and you think you'd post fairly regularly, let me know. I know hardly any writers around here which is why I'm coming online.
