[ooc: Aya's loss for dying was to lose an eye. He'll be having a scarf or an eyepatch over his right eye. Don't approach from his blind side for a while if you rather keep your head. XD;]

Sena stirred slowly, blinking deep blue eyes fogged still with sleep and confusion--clearing once he saw the dim outline of Aya sitting on his bed.

"Aya!" he exclaimed--quietly, certainly not loud enough to carry beyond the room. Tears began to track down his face as he remembered just what had happened a few days ago, and he drew in a hiss of breath as his eyes adjusted to the darkness and he saw the scarf over his face. "...your eye?"

"Hey, you're... alive." It came out a lot softer than Aya had first intended. He couldn't begin to essay how he felt about seeing Sena, laying in the bed and obviously hurt badly, bandages peeking under the neck of his shirt. There was guilt, regret, anger at first, sadness...

"I..." he begun, closed his mouth then, reaching to brush aside some hair from Sena's face. "It's gone," he said quietly, voice trembling a little.

Sena sat up and wrapped his arms around Aya, burying his face in the elder's shirt and trying to blink back tears.

"...please don't go again..."

Aya sucked in a sharp breath, stiffening when Sena reached up for him. In the next heartbeat he released the breath, however, relaxing. "I haven't gone anywhere," he said a bit throatily, wrapping his arms around Sena gently.

"What happened?" he asked hesitantly while rubbing Sena's back comfortingly.

"...I was too slow..." Sena mumbled into Aya's shirt, not daring to let go. "...by the time I caught up, you were..."

"Mmn..." Aya nodded, uncaring of the fact that he had been dead. He had been through that fact for several times now. "I was dead. What happened to you?" he asked, tone of voice surprisingly gentle, like his hold around Sena as well.

"He got me too," Sena said softly. "I passed out...I don't know why he didn't kill me, too."

That made sure Aya tensed up again, biting his teeth together. "Hn. How bad is it?" he asked softly.

"...not that bad, just...my neck..." The blood loss had been worse than anything else.

Aya sighed, closing his eyes for a moment. "I... I'm sorry, Sena," he said quietly. "I should have--" And then he bites his teeth together again, falling silent. There's no excuse, he fucked things up royally this time.
