As they say, the best solution is the simplest one. I've heard how very important it is that I do not cut my wings, and yet those wings are what these 'Malnosso' people gave me. They could just as well be the reason for being captured here.

Has anyone ever tried to cut off their wings?

Maybe death is the way out of here...Where did all the snow ( Read more... )

I have been wondering if cutting off our wings will also result in death -- true death, by the standards of this world, and whether or not that will send us home.

Unfortunately, I am not brave enough to try such a maneuver, nor would I ask it of anyone else.

I have to admit that was my first impression, or assumption. Getting back home that way would be too fortunate, I suppose.

I should have probably worded myself differently. I've heard it'll end up in death, but no-one has yet mentioned what actually happens to these people who've lost their wings.

I figure as much. Either way, it's not much to hope for.

As far as I know, there have not been any cases of people losing their wings. Of course, I haven't been here as long as some of the others, so there may have been a case that I am unaware of.

I guess it's better than nothing?

And all the information about losing your wings comes from the original Filial if that'll turn out to be the case. How long have you been here?

I'm Aya. Got a name to go with your picture?

That is most definitely true.

You would be correct, I presume, about that. All of the information that we have about the world here, it seems, comes from the few filial left here. And for all I know, they may be brainwashed, or created. They've not really given us any useful information, in either case.

My name is Caesar. I've been here for a little more than three weeks.

It seems others are rather adamant about the Filial speaking the truth. I wouldn't trust anyone fully before there's more evidence than just hearsay.

I was just shipped here. But I guess that's pretty obvious.

I agree completely, though many here would probably be offended. Still, you can't please everyone in war, so what can we do?

Ha, no worries. At least the only hazing you're likely to receive is from our captors; most everyone else is pretty helpful, though many tend to keep to themselves. Being torn from your world and thrust into a cruel, mindless experiment will do that to people, I suppose.

I suppose most need something to believe in. It's not much helpful, but I find it worth preserving.

They should rather group together. There's safety in number, which should overdrive the comfort in solitary.

Truthfully, I'm a bit surprised to find out that there seems to be little coordinating for the efforts of getting out of here.

[ooc: sorry for double post. Correcting typo. ;__;]

Yeah; morale is important, especially in a situation like this. And again, I agree -- people shouldn't really be by themselves, but I think the fact that many of them are from different worlds, and they tend to congregate along those lines really does hurt those who are the only ones from their worlds, or were enemies previously.

Well, I'm working on that. I've just gotten a little ... sidetracked, is all.

[ooc: no problem! I got so tired of making mistakes that I got paid time, just so I could edit replies. D: I feel your pain!]

Understandable. I've already run into people I'd rather avoid wherever I am. I guess it comes down to picking the lesser evil.

Well, good. Let me know if I can help in any way.

[ooc: That's a tempting concept. Just to avoid the million adds. >.> ]

Yeah; they're out there, for sure. Fortunately, the lesser evil is pretty easy to define, but even then there will be people who would rather take their chance.

I will definitely do so.

[ooc: Three bucks a month is pretty doable, for me at least. Not to mention extra icons.]

I suppose it's difficult to think about old enemies as allies just like that. Even if it's logical. Unfortunately that'll make organizing any united counteraction somewhat awkward.

[ooc: I usually go with basic account for rp, but this time wanted more icons. And so there's the annoying adds everywhere. Three bucks a month is not that much. lol]

Hah ... I know what you mean about that. However, the problems of this world are not the same problems back home, if that's any help.

[ooc: I've got adblock, so all I see are blank spaces, but yeah, the icons. XD Caesar is so... expressive and adorable, even 15 wasn't enough. D:]

It seems the problems in essence are quite the same. Methods to deal with them just don't exist here.

[ooc: He's cute! Aya seems to get along with him. :O Baffles me. lol. These games should happen in greatest journal where you can have million icons as a default. ;D]

Is that so? I imagine you've had quite the interesting homelife, then.

Are they dangerous to the general population, here?

[ooc: Yeah, I'm kind of baffled, too, but greatly amused. Maybe it's a red-head thing? XD Aaah, greatestjournal. I kind of forgot it existed. XD]

In essence. Assholes taking advantage of the weaker parts of population, who have very little to protect themselves with.

I guess weaponry always is? But, no, I wouldn't go that far.

[ooc: Caesar is an antisocial idiot as well? x3 I spy something that might be the beginnings of eartails as well. It must be a fellow redhead thing. ;D That too. I'm always reminded when there's icons to talk about.]
