Report a Spambot
We've also made it easier to report a user that you suspect of being a spambot. The pop-up menu that's visible when you hover your mouse over the userhead icon now includes an option to report that user as a bot.
I got friended over the weekend by what I thought was a spambot. I used the new feature and bang, stazvt's journal was deleted. Last time I reported a spambot, it took several days. I checked out this person's journal and it was in Russian. I had never seen their name on any comments anywhere. So I used the new feature and boy was it swift. I'm impressed. I reported another journal a few hours later. Wonder if it will be dealt with so fast?
