LJ is slowly dying it seems. I will really miss this site. It helped me during a dark time. I found a group of people here that brought much joy to my life.

I pray that everyone is safe. That this madness will end soon.

So many people seem to be using the rumour that Russia will cut off the outside world from its internet on Friday as a motive to leave finally. I'm sad; I've been here since August 2005! I'm the same name on DW.

I'm really sad about this too... I've been here since 2003 and it's where I met so many wonderful people. All these memories and all these old posts and communities. Really hoping the rumors aren't true, but it does still feel so much like the end.

I will have this journal for as long as LJ is here. I am watching to see what will happen. I wonder if it might be the only outside news Russia might receive. I fear Putin will use it somehow to feed people misinformation. Trump used Twitter to post fake news. And his followers ate it up.

Yikes, I hadn't heard that particular rumor. I just thought LJ dying a slow death was becoming more and more likely.
