Things going on.

I voted on the first day of early voting. My voting site for the last few years was at our library. They moved it across the street this year to the new collage. Thankfully there were signs showing where to go. Got there about fifteen minutes before voting began. Line was long and everyone was wearing a mask. There was a guy in scrubs in front of me. Very few were six feet apart. I put distance in front of me. An older couple were after me. The wife was very vocal about people standing six feet apart. No one really listened. Had to pull down my mask to show I matched my ID. Didn't see anyone cleaning the machines after one voted. Was given a cotton swap to use to tap my choices instead of my finger. Guess that was keep the touch screens clean. Everyone was very quiet. Police were watching everyone.

I've had medicare for three years now. I have the same company for the supplement coverage as I had from my company insurance before I had medicare. Most of the supplement insurance plans now have a new form called an advantage plan. It's cheaper because you don't have monthly payments. If you have your medicine mailed to you, there's no copay. Currently I pay around $250 a month for supplement insurance and medicine coverage. My medicine costs for 90 days runs about $50
So this would save me some. I spoke to an agent yesterday and made sure my doctors were in the new program. My dentist wasn't. I can get coverage from my company for dental pretty cheap. This new plan also covers glasses and hearing which my current plan doesn't. I was assured I could go back to my old plan within two years if I changed my mind. In the next few years, insurance may change here in the States depending on who gets elected this year. The world may change after the election. I hate being in limbo. If Trump gets reelected one will be safe.

Our state requires masks to be worn while indoors areas, but people still refuse. Three times this last week it has happened. A woman had her mask in her hand while shopping. A young couple did a return with no masks. I asked them if they had masks. The wife said they were leaving the store so they didn't have to wear one. Another woman entered the store without a mask. We offered one to her. She said it was her right to not wear one. How many people have to die for these jerks to start wearing a mask?

I am starting to worry about the results of the election. No matter who wins, there will be issues. Trump's followers will go crazy either way.
