Both of the women glared at him.
“Now Big Blue, don’t be offended. Just a joke to ease the moment.”
“You called her your Pet. I am offended by the idea of it.”
Buffy raised an eyebrow questioningly at Spike.
“Just a term of affection, Blue.”
Illyria gazed at the tiny blond with new interest.
Could this small human be another pawn to play with or Spike’s Queen?
The Demon God preferred the former. The latter displeased her.
