io9 is a blog launched in 2008 by  Gawker Media.  The blog focuses on the subjects
of science fiction, futurism and advances in the fields of science and technology. It has
links to all kinds of articles and interesting other sites.  I find all kinds of strange subjects
along with TV, movies and videos on this site.  I spend a few minutes each day scanning
the links there.
