James Marsters No surprise to those to know me.
Yes, I found his character, Spike, first, but it was James himself that won me over.
He is wonderful with his fans. He is as much a fan boy as we are fans. I first met him in 2009.
I watched him during his photo shoots with his fans. There was a boy about ten with his family
just ahead of me. James took several photos with the boy and then with the family. Froggy, who
was the photographer, was rushing the fans and not being very nice about it. The family moved
to side after their photos were finished. James ignored Froggy and walked over to the side and
spoke with the family for several minutes. Froggy was not happy about it and James didn't care.
The boy was important to him and he gave them his full attention. It meant the world to that boy. I fell in
love with the man instead of the character at that moment. When I walked up to do my photo, I told
James how impressed I was with his action and he beamed that wonderful smile at me. He has been
as nice each time I've had another moment with him.
