My BBF is
edenskye  He is an amazing person filled with love and kindness.
He has seven nieces and nephews. I’ve watched him over the years with them.
He is an inspiration to them and to me. One of his deepest desires is to have a
family of his own. Because he is gay, he isn’t allowed to marry in our state.

Hopefully in the future, people will realize that love is love. Being straight doesn’t mean
you are perfect as a person, a spouse, or a parent. It just gives you legal rights to be
married and have kids. Doesn’t mean you won’t be cruel, thoughtless, or selfish.

The NOH8 Campaign is a silent protest photo project against California Proposition 8.
The campaign features photographs portraying people in front of a white backdrop
wearing white t-shirts, their mouths taped shut and "NOH8" painted on their cheek.
The campaign was created on February 1, 2009, by photographer Adam Bouska
and Jeff Parshley. The photos are featured on the campaign's website, Facebook,
Flickr, Twitter, MySpace, as well as a virtual world campaign in Second Life.

Currently, 2000 official photos have been taken and 1400 photos have been submitted
by supporters. Some photographers and student groups have even set up their own photo
shoots. The campaign photos have circulated on the internet and are appearing on many
supporter's social networking profiles. Both LGBT and non LGBT people have participated
in the photo shoots.
