THE KILLER OF MCGARRETT'S FATHER RETURNS, IN AN EXPLOSIVE EPISODE OF "HAWAII FIVE-0," MONDAY, DEC. 13

"Hana 'a'a Makehewa*" - It's Christmas in Hawaii, but instead of celebrating, Five-0 is negotiating a hostage situation when the man who killed McGarrett's father resurfaces. The murderer, Victor Hesse, threatens to detonate an explosive that he's strapped to Chin Ho's chest, on HAWAII FIVE-0 Monday, Dec. 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  James Marsters ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") reprises his role as Victor Hesse.

*"Hana 'a'a Makehewa" is Hawaiian for "Desperate Measures."
And more news!

Hawaii Five-0 has found the man to play the show's most famous villain, and he's a pretty fair dancer.

Mark Dacascos -- best known as the Chairman on and as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars last year -- has been cast as Wo Fat, who was the long-time nemesis of McGarrett in the original series. Though the character (played by Khigh Dheigh) only appeared in 11 episodes over the original show's 12 seasons, he is remembered as the big bad of the show.

There's no word yet on when Dacascos will make his first appearance as Wo Fat on the new "Hawaii Five-0" or how the character might differ from the original, who was a Chinese intelligence officer.

Dacascos is a native of Hawaii and has acted in several dozen movies and TV series in addition to his time on "Iron Chef America." His notable roles include the syndicated series "The Crow: Stairway to Heaven" and movies like "Cradle 2 the Grave" and "Brotherhood of the Wolf."

I'm very happy about James being back on Hawaii Five-0.  I'm delighted by Mark getting this role as Wo Fat.
