Buffy was the Nekid Guest on nekid_spike this month.
So I posted it there as well.

The Council hated any hint of being an individual.
They wanted their slayers to be carbon copies.
Easily trained and guided to be the killing machines that served their masters well.
Buffy was an original. She was a valley girl who suddenly became a slayer.
Buffy might have copied the current hair style or worn the right label,
but she never was anyone’s carbon copy.
She didn’t play by the rules or respected someone because they wore tweed.
All the girls who followed her were not copies either.
She was their inspiration. She was the Slayer who changed the world.
