Comic-Con: Get a Taste of the Rest True Blood's Season

Found this on tvguide.com:
True Blood creater Alan Ball and many members of the cast were on hand at the San Diego Comic-Con for a screening of the trailer for the remainder of the HBO series' fangtastic second season.
The footage features Maryann wreaking havoc in full-on,bull-headed maenad attire, Jason Stackhouse finally realizing that the Fellowship of the Sun might not be the place for him, and the first look at Evan Rachel Wood as Vampire Queen, Sophie-Anne. (Watch the full trailer below).

After the footage aired, Ball, Charlaine Harris (who authored the books on which the series is based), and actors Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Alexander Skarsgard, Nelsan Ellis, and Deborah Ann Woll took questions from the audience, according to E! Online. Among the teases the cast let slip were that the Bill-Sookie-Eric triangle from the books will be played out and that Sam's a "real magnet for abuse this year."
Ball also announced that a real Tru Blood beverage will hit stores Sept. 10. Though Ball joked that the long-talked-about beverage was a "completely illegal" mix of wine with blood, "vodka, Vicodin, Viagra and ecstasy," it is actually a blood orange soda. Pre-orders are now being accepted at trubeverage.com.

Perhaps the best news for fans is that the show will return for a third season. And in case you are worried the show might run out of source material, Harris confirmed that she has just signed on to write three more books. The next novel is due in bookstores in May 2010.
