Ah well, I didn't write something here since april...
I hope I can write more news regularly now~
Sooo, what's new?
First, I did get my Abitur, which makes me really happy :D
(But on the other hand, I still don't know what I want to do now, I can't decide on a job *sigh*)
Second, I found a new fandom :D *celebrates*
I'm not only back in the PotC-fandom, I also somehow got into the Age of Sail-fandom (Ships, men and breeches, does a girl need anything more?) and because of it, I'm constantly reading books.
At the moment it's the Horatio Hornblower-books from C S Forester. (and yes, I already watched the movies, too... they were great. Too sad that there are only 8, though~)
Ah, there was a funny little episode with my Hornblower-books.
Since I'm constantly broken, I couldn't afford them at first and lamented on it for about 2 weeks to my parents withouth mentioning which books exactly I'd love to read.
One day, as my mother and I were sitting and drinking coffee, she said to me out of the blue "If you're so interested in Navy-things, wouldn't you like to read the Hornblower-books?"
I really gaped at her for about half a minute and stuttered then "You know them?"
She answered: "Yeah well, we had them in our bookshelf!"
Naturally, I (really) sqealed, jumped out of the chair and ran upstairs to the bookshelf of my mother and what do I find there? The whole series in German °___°"
*facepalm* I should pay more attention to the stuff of my parents since I think I passed the books about 10 times a day and they were exactly at eye level.
I feel so stupid now.
(But I still want to buy those books in english and read them again)
Ah well, I think I'll stop the ramblings now
