I do not get Sting's acenscion to godness though. I love the guy but he's a halfwit and his voice isn't half as hard to copy as Freddy's.

He's a complete ass who's utterly full of himself, but after seeing him live I believe his arrogance is at least justified. I keep seeing all these amateur gits trying to copy his voice but that effortless tone just cannot be reproduced, for srs. It's just one of those voices - put a Sting song on any other singer who sings completely in tune and it'll come out sounding shabby because it's not Sting.

I loved Mariah pre-popslut days ;w; Then she decided to overstate her newfoundfreedomz after divorcing Mottola and thought getting a massive plastic chest and singing songs where you can barely make out the melody = great reinvention. Her voice will always be awesome though.
