The need for instant gratification is why I bought the Eee. It was cheap enough that I don't care if I upgrade it in a year :-)

Plus, was easily paid for by my overtime recently.

There is that. I can always buy this now and use next year's tax refund to buy the 2133. After all, it will have more of a fan base by then and more support and mods will be available.

Of course, some would just say you are enabling my need for IMMEDIATE GRATIFICATION.

ha ha, so true,, but the 8.9 inch Eee looks very tasty. If I hadn't bought the 7 inch one, I might have waited for that one, but that'll be my upgrade next year ;p
