Ghost town.
My company has two worksites -- the primary site where we deliver clinical services, and an administrative site which also serves for some auxiliary clinical services. As I am a techie, my office is out of the administrative site.
Today, out of 40 people assigned to this worksite, I am one of only two in the office. The other is our receptionist. And she's only here because she's so new she hasn't earned enough vacation time to take today off.
I almost want to challenge her to a chair race down the hall, and or hook my notebook computer up to the really nice new projector and pop in a DVD or grab the latest episode of Star Trek: New Voyages off teh intertubes.
Today, but for a hunt to track down some quotes on a new security camera system for the clinical site, is going to be ass-numbingly dull.
