Oh yeah....
Monday, April 6, 2009 was my 7-month anniversary of quitting smoking.

Went to the doc for my biannual checkup...guess what the diagnoses were? I'm getting older! No shit!!! lol....I'm just glad that the few questions I had about various things were all basically caused by aging, and not by anything more serious or more scary. Now if only my body could be as young as my mind, everything'd be all good. I did have to have my ear flushed out with peroxide water due to an earwax blockage that was causing nerve pain along my TMJ (jawbone hinge)...thank goodness it wasn't actual TMJ disorder, just the earwax. I look forward to not having to hold pressure near my ear where it hurt anymore. And, of course, I heard all the usual: lose weight, keep on it, keep your feet elevated at night, all my usual stuff that I already know. Hey, gentle reminders never hurt anyone, right? lol.
