Florida
I wish I could go back....I went to Florida to visit my friend Ange and help her celebrate her 40th birthday. I had THE most wonderful time there!! Talking and laughing and just spending time with people near and dear to my heart. I left on Thursday the 15th and returned Tuesday the 20th. Tuesday thru Sunday it was pretty chilly - temps in the 40's and low 50's in the daytime. It began to warm up on Monday, and, figgers, it gets GORGEOUS out on Tuesday, when I have to leave! Luckily for me, my plane was at 8 pm so I did get to enjoy the majority of the day's warmth...not to mention the warmth of the people in my life that day. On Monday Ange and Kath took us all to Tarpon Springs and then to Clearwater Beach to watch the sunset over the Gulf. What a gorgeous sight! I was very glad to share this time with everyone, but I am also glad I went because I really needed some "me" time, and forget about every little stress in my world for a little while. Mission accomplished! There is talk of a repeat performance in August - I sure hope so. There is nothing like spending time with the friends you love. =D
