I want to be a Game Troll!
I was out job hunting yesterday...practically marathon running. I stopped in at least three places in South Gate, four places down town, and another five places on the west side.
Actually, the places I least expected to work and most wanted a job were the most promising ones. All fairly far away however....Joannes, Big 5, World Market, and Barnes and Noble all had hints of hiring. But one place right herein Tumwater, less than a mile from my house, seemed very promising.
Game Trolls....a LAN and cardgaming cafe less than a mile from my house would be an awsome place to work...I stayed in and introduced myself, they liked my chara.....alright....they liked my resume. I just almost typed character sheet instead of resume....I left that mistype in as proof that I would make an excellent employee at a place like that. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be exactly booming. They aren't currently hiring although they'd really like to be. They obviously need help.
That gives me an idea....I should write up a resume to look like a character sheet specifically for applying to places like that.
Anyway, I'd like to help them out and perhaps get a job there. But I can't get a job there if they go out of business. So tell al your nerdy friends! Have LAN parties where you don't have to deal with the hardware! And espresso! Check this place out! Its in the newly forming Plaza across from Costco on Littlerock road, tucked way back in the corner. They made this place for us! They deserve our attention, and all of our money.
