Safety Concerns and Dorm/Parking Rules

Dorm Rules:
1) Quiet hours start at 10PM no exceptions. This means, no yelling, no loud music, no playing basketball in the hallways. The Study Lounge must also be emptied by 10PM.
2) Any harassment and/or Physical Assaults will result in immediate report and possible suspension or expulsion.
3) Do not leave your trash in the hallway. There are dumpsters at the back of the building. Please place all unwanted items there.
4) Males and females are welcome to enter each others' rooms, but must retire to their respective rooms by midnight.
5) Most pets are not allowed. The exceptions are animals that can be kept contained in a tank or cage at all times (such as birds, fish, turtles, etc).
6) If you have guests staying with you, they must also adhere to these rules. It is your responsibility to make sure that they are aware of them.
Parking Rules:
1) You must obtain a parking pass in order to park in the lot behind the Dorm Building. Parking passes are $75 dollars. Please make checks out to the University and drop all payments off at the cashier's office.
2) There is special guest parking for your guests at side of the lot, but please stop buy Safety and Security to register them and obtain a temporary permit.
3) Any car parked in the lot without a pass will be towed at the owner's expense.
4) Keep your car locked and secured at all times. The University is not responsible for any stolen items or damage to your property.
4) If you'd prefer to park on the street, it is free to do so, but you must follow city ordinances regarding plowing and sweeping times. If not followed, it is possible that your car will be towed by the city.

1) For your safety, escort service is available to all students 24 hours a day. Please call 3-4955 to arrange an escort to anywhere on campus.
2) Blue alert towers are located around the campus. If you are in any danger, press the blue button and Security will immediately assist you.
