Live journal???
This one time I forgot I had a livejournal, and then I remembered that I did and a year had gone by.
Turns out my other blog I started last year was only "funny" for about 2 days. Then it just became a regular blog about stuff, so thats cool...I guess. Well wait, I did review stuff and do my little "year in review" thing. Thats productive.
Today is my AEA daylight day of rest from The Foreigner. Its not really a whole day considering I have to leave and get my butt back to the theater by 5 (which means leaving at 3). Oh Long Island, stop being so far away. Tech is going well, we open Saturday, woo hoo! Yesterday we FINALLY got the trap gag to work. PRAISE GOD! Not kidding, we were worried. I've had a lot of fun working on this show and Im actually....getting paid. WHAT! NO! YES! Thats that, I am officially a paid assistant director. Score. (I mean hey, I'll direct my own stuff too, its just smaller and not being paid YET, just wait..dun dun dun) It was a cool feeling getting to call some of my people into audition for the understudy roles (non equity and all) but my favorites are still in school therefore I couldnt ask them. BUT! It was important that if they could have done it, I would have asked.
So Work=awesome.
Its my final semester in College, good.
In other news I have a very cute boyfriend whom I adore. And he has a career! And hes moving to the city! And its going to be happiness in a bottle!!! Seriously, he is brilliant-I didnt really understand how smart he is until he came to the city for a week to work on this CPA firms website (he doest marketing). Talking with him about his ideas, reading the article he wrote, it made me want to bake him something. And hes gonna move here and we are going to get an apartment and build a home to come home to each other at night and we will go to work and watch theater together and hang out with friends and Ill sleepover at Annas and let him have a poker night and we are going to start our own company and there is no drama and we can be settled as we embark on this whole "being an adult" journey together.
AND IM DONE BEING ALL ROMANTIC.
Things are going well. The relationship is hard because its long distance, work is lots of work but its theater so I love it, school is there and Im making this whole new york thing work.
I do miss my MI people who are in the city. Its difficult because I want to see people and theres no time. So just know that next year when Im settled-getting together. May baby.
