assembling an ensemble

Well, I've got Hunter on bass and Dan on kit. Both seem into it. I've been so scattered and frazzled from work lately, though, that I haven't had any energy to devote to the project. And the initial infusion of juice is so vital. I'm hoping I haven't bitten off more than I can chew with everything else I've got going on. Gaiananda, dojo, work - school again come spring. And a social life in there somewhere, maybe? And now a new band. That'll total 4 nights of rehearsal a week between Gaiananda and this. Nothing to do but give it a good run and see what happens.

I've realized lately how out of touch with the old songs I'ev grown. Snapshots of other ages. Strange stuff. I can her the old arrangements in my head for Wasteland and Run. I really had designed them for playing with the various incarnations of the old gang. Chris on lead, Dan E on bass and Mike C on kit. Me up front making an ass of myself. Last I checked they were still mixing my material in with their own. Even after all these years. They were a great band. But time to move on. It's been so long since I've had to learn to mesh with anyone else. I'd almost forgotten what it was like to soundshift to meet others.
