little bits...

  •  Today I got an e-mail about registering for classes for next semester. And I got to delete it. It felt really good.

  • Last week I handed in "here's how to spell and pronouce my name" form. Now when I get it, they'll say "NAY-dough" rather than "NAH-due". Woohoo.

  • I did my exit interview for my college loans. Yay. No more loans...... until grad school *sigh.*

  • Josh's call with San Diego went really well apparently. He's waiting to hear from then about being flow out for a proper interview and a tour of the office. *crosses fingers*

  • Tomorrow I'm meeting with Career Services to fix my resume. It looks short - and it shouldn't.

  • Paper and Project Galore until May 5th. Bring it on.

  • I decided I'm doing my capstone ethnography on my time spent in the English university system. I can talk about the academics, the living arrangements, the drinking culture... the list goes on. Which is good because it's supposed to be at least 20 pages.

  • Also, I have decided what I should do with my life. Start an organization which helps non-profits put "employment opportunity" pages on their websites. There seems to be a lack of understanding about how much that might actually help potential employees and, in turn, get them a larger, more competent pool from which to pick from. For serious.

  • Carolyn and two people from downstairs had a communal birthday party this weekend. Her brother and some friends came up and stay at our place. I wasn't here and my door was closed, but when I came home this morning my bed was a mess. Apparently one (actually it looks like two) snuck into my room in the middle of the night, slept, and then went back in to the living room in the morning. I wouldn't really care, but I'm icked out by the idea that someone that I don't know was in my room, sleeping in my bed, and using my pillows. I don't think they stole anything... but I haven't done a complete check. I kind of feel like I'm owed an apology by her brother... after all it was his friends. But I don't think I'm going to get one.
