1. Look at all your stuff in despair. Where did it come from? This, friends, is what we call a problem of privilege. Nevertheless, it's disconcerting.
2. Get rid of as much shit as you possibly can. Give it away, sell it, put it out on the lawn, send out plaintive emails to your friends, etc.
3. Get friends and family to store a couple boxes each.
4. Repeat step two. Be meaner and harder on yourself.
5. Stuff as much crap as you can in the car. Obsessively check the drivers seat to make sure there's some visibility.
6. Stare dejectedly at all the stuff that didn't fit.
