Today I met up with Wysky for some lunch and shopping. Yay!
And, I purchased the new Elliott Smith cd, which has some earlier/different versions of his songs that have already been released.
I love Elliott. And I am loving the alternate versions, thus far. And I'm sure I'll like all of them.
I've previously been aok witih downloading his music, as he's unfortunately passed away and he would not get the proceeds. However, a significant portion of the proceeds from this cd go to a charity that helps out homeless kids and very low-income adults in Portland (where he's from). So, yea. It's a good deal.
He was a very talented guy, and not enough people know his stuff.
That should change.

Miss Misery- Oscar Performance. Sad song, yes. This is the newer version than the one I was listening to while writing this entry. However, this video makes me happy, as he got to play at the Oscars before he died.
