Planning is fun!!
OK, Jason said that he would call Promises to set the date..I guess they are faxing him the contract stuff. So, I am getting married August 19, 2007!!! Last night Jas and I fully settled on it and I got all giddy like when he first proposed. Having a place and a date makes everything feel more real:-)
With that all said I have pictures!
Our color theme is going off of this box. Tiffany (maybe aqua) blue and brown. I was thinking we could get these as favors and decide what to put in them later:
To ask the lovely women in my life to be in my wedding I bought these. I am going to but brown like the favor box and also engrave the plaque that goes on top with something pretty. Any ideas? Inside the boxes I'm going to write a letter to each of them coming from my heart about how much they mean to me.
Last night we also decided that we want to throw an Engagement/Meet the family party. Its more of a party for his family (moms, dad, sister) to meet my family (moms, dads, sisters, step siblings, brother) because we have no clue how to do it any other way. I got these at Target. They match pretty closely but were for a baby shower...I just took off the "Oh baby" tag and they look great!
They had matching "Thank You" cards so I bought them also
Ok, That's all for right now. It's a good start, I think. We have a date, a place, and a color theme. Ahh, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!!!
