Iiiiiit's vacation!
I made it to my first real vacation of the summer - only a four-day weekend, but that just sounds like heaven right now! Ed and I are flying to Chicago tomorrow to spend the 4th with my family and some friends. I can't wait!
Quilt update...(incidentally, I'm a huge nerd for trying to work in a "stubble update" reference here)...From lots of folded fabric, it has progressed to lots of little pieces. The piles are growing!
I haven't finished cutting everything yet, but I have taken a break to start stitching some of the pieces together. I am dying to get together at least one block and see how it looks! Of course, this haphazard approach has resulted in a growing mess which is slowly taking over the not-yet-furnished room...
And it's only going to get worse from here. You see why I didn't want to do this in a condo!
Well, off to get some dinner. Today what makes me happy is my job. I love to complain about it sometimes, but I love it too. :)
