Catchin up
It's been a while since I've written in here so I thought I'd get caught up...
Well I had a very fun week but was not very productive, oh well, hopefully I will be this week.
Sunday Erik and I mostly finished our Heat Transfer project. It was nice to not wait until the last minute and be able to enjoy such a beautiful day outside. Tuesday Shaz and I rode the river trail. It was fun although she had to ride my squeaky brakes, seat too high, campus bike. She did pretty good for not riding very often. Wednesday, hmm.. oh yeah class and then I went over to Meg's and hung out with her and Betto, who came to visit for the day. They went with me to pick up my mom at the Breslin parking lot and Dustin let us out for free, again. I just found out he quit, guess I'll be paying this Wednesday, oh well. Anyways I managed to stall my car because we were all laughing so hard about something. Dropped my mom at the Biomed building and then hung out with the girls a little more. Went to the Pi Tau Sigma (ME honor society) meeting for E-board elections.. guess who's the new secretary? Yep, it's me! Figured having a little leadership might be good on my resume, plus it will be fun. Then I went and picked up my mom after her math panel thingie and she called me a "Blond bombshell in a silver bullet." HAHA, I love my car. We went to Harper's but couldn't find a table so we went to the Post instead. It was nice, got dinner and beers. Ran into Abe and Brian on their frat's golf theme bar crawl, it was hilarious, they were pretty wasted.
I continued the week by partying some more...
Thursday Mel, Grant, Shaz, Craig and I went to the Riv for Burger-ama. We had a good time, burgers and beer. Yum. They have this thing in the bathroom with facts on it and one of them said that over 2,500 left handed people die a year from using things that are made for right handed people... geeesh I better be careful. Another one was that your thumb nail grows slower than the other ones and that porqupines float. Who would have known! Ya learn something new every day, even if you are drinking and its in the bathroom at a trashy bar. HAH. Mel and I came home and drank coffee and took a nap. Ash, Steve, Erik and I were goin to go see Kill Bill vol 2 but Erik was too busy with his Turbomachinery project. So, I just went over to Ash's and chilled for a while.
Friday was the ME Tailgate at Dr. Somerton's house. There were tons of professors there and also we went through 3 kegs. NT even showed up, how funny. He gave everyone shit that didnt make it to class. What a blast! We were there for a while then Ash, Steve, Erik, BJ and I went to Bdubs and had huge beers. We then somehow ended up at Woody's Oasis and had hummus and tabuli (no clue how to spell that) and some red/strawberry beer of some sort. We came back to SUH and hung out and had popsicles.
I'm ready for school to be done for the semester but not at all ready to leave EL and go home for the summer. I'm really enjoying all this time with my friends. Hopefully we can pick up where we leave off this fall. Friday should be fun too, Crunchy's after design day! Whoo hoo!
