Couple notes on today.
Just in case you're looking for comment!fic or a comment!prompt, there are a few things about today you need to know.
1. It started at 4:30 PM Friday for me. It is now 10:19 PM Saturday.
2. It included not being allowed in my house for 2 hours while it was being bug bombed.
3. I went yard sale-ing with 2 sisters, a girlfriend, and a three year old in tow. It lasted several hours and then there was a trip to Walmart.
4. When we got home after much more than 2 hours, we still had to air out the house so we went next door to the older sister's house.
5. When we finally were ready to return home, girlfriend's friend Helen called and invited us to the mall.
6. There was shopping of the insane kind as Helen has a real job. There was also bras and undies bought for Katie and me.
7. Then there was early dinner.
8. Then there was a 45 minute wait for anything decent to be playing in the movie theatre.
9. Then? Surf's Up. Which is kind of the most awesomne penguin movie.
10. On the (rather long as we live in the middle of nowhere) drive home, I realized something really cool that made me squee with delight and forget I was tired for about half an hour (see below).
11. And hopefully soon there will be sleep.
This is by no means a full explanation, and I'm sorry, maybe I will explain better in comments when I am more coherent tomorrow. For now, I just want to play 3 degrees of ME!!!
I went to a Trapt concert and met the whole band at a signing backstage. (Actual words were in fact spoken, though possibly not coherently as I'm a big fan; But they were words of some description. So I really have met them. And talked to at least the singer.) Trapt made a video featuring Michelle Trachtenberg. FOB also made a video with her in it for a bit. (A really tiny bit).
