everytime we say goodbye i die a little...

so today after putzing around i went to the pops concert at the high school. it was graners last concert so it was emotional for a lot. he was a good teacher, and quite the interesting conducter. if you call banging drum sticks on a music stand directing.. that class was great fun. my favorite part about the night was seeing all my old friends. i got to hang out with matt burns and mike wetmore for the first half, then met up with jason and hung out with him for the second half. it was nice getting to see them again, perhaps after a year of saying "well have to get together" all of us might actually follow through this summer. i hung out with brownie a lot tonight too, but i couldnt find my ashleigh :( oh well. ive been deemed "the hippie" of the group. with my dashboard and flipflops. afkslgjksa i also ran into john keys, hes a cool fellow. he cut his hair finally :D on a good note: it appears as if munson has added something other than jazz squares to her dance routines! i must say i was impressed with the dancing this year, compared to the other years that is. some of the spotlight solos were dissapointing. i loved listening to sam shinfield as always. sorenson shoudl be a gameshow host, thats all ive gotta say. good job kiddo.

to be completely honest, i must say im not dissapointed that i didnt take chorus again. it was fun to learn about music theory in that class, but the type of performances they do isnt my style. i do wish however that i went out for spectrum. my old senior buddies told me i should, but i never listened, i wish i did. another thing that im going to do again is the plays. i just love being on stage and ive been neglecting that for too long.

ive cheered up a litte since my last entry. hopefuly i can get out of this rut that has seemed to go on forever.
