I have a Deal to make
So Most of you guys know that I have been collecting money for the American Cancer Society through this 24-hour relay with my team from work (not so many team members from work so if you are interested let me know...I'm a little worried about having enough people)
Well I have done fairly well this year as far as my goal to raise money but I have this nagging feeling that I can do better. Most of my donations came from my family in memory of my Oma or Grandmother. My Oma was a very special person in my life and is the main reason why I relay but there are so many other reasons to relay that I figured maybe a little bit of a reminder would help some of my friends realize that even as collage aged people they can still make a difference because it happens to us too. In the last 2 nights I met 2 amazing people who shared their stories. One girl who is a freshman at Davis this year and a guy who was barely given a chance to survive who is now doing amazing and takes time to talk to groups because he has a purpose in life.
So here’s my DEAL to make with all of you guys. I have been thinking about it and I have decided that not only do I know that my friends can give more but I know that I can give more as well. So if you can donate anything (and this does not have to be just online you can message or comment me and I'll cone pick up a check, cash, chickens, whatever) online on in person from today up until March 14th I will match whatever you guys donate to Relay for Life up to $300. Most of you guys know how much I make...or should I say how little I make so I really am willing to throw down if you guys are.

By the way...do any of you guys work for places that might want to sponsor a team or make an event donation? I have forms for that too and getting a donation like that would be pretty awesome :) I might be satisfied then.... something sure is telling me to do more though. I sure hope it’s my AWESOME friends :) And if you don't like me that much think of it this way... you're costing me money and helping a good cause =p hehehe
