Come on you guys! I know you can donate something to the American Cancer Society! So far only 2 other people besides myself have donated on my page! I will go around and bug ya'll in person if I have to but the website makes it easier for most everyone involved. Take a min to look in to your heart and see if you can make a donation. Cancer isn't even a disease, it's an error in the reproduction of cells with which the human body shuts itself down. The age at which it happens is random to a certain extent, but usually it happens after a person has had a good few decades and aged past the prime of their life, and it would happen to everybody if they lived long enough. Cancer's one of a very few significant longevity controls we have left; I think it's rather important for the health of the species and in a larger sense the planet in general. And yes, I have lost relatives to it. Death is sad, but as long as there's Birth, Death is also completely necessary.

Fuck you Ben. I don't really feel the desire to talk to you or be hostage to your opinons anymore. Especially after Ally's wedding reception. Cancer may not be a problem to you, but I obviously care about it and if you didn't you sure as fuck didn't need to tell me thats its not a disease. Look into your facts more sometime too. Asshole.

'Course if you have it, I didn't know, and would apologize.

Might wanna work on your victim speech a bit more, though. "Hostage to your opinions" made me laugh out loud, which I suspect isn't what you were going for.

That fact of the matter is you don't know if I have it or not. The actuallity of it being a problem for me now or in the near future is real. I don't care if my speeches didn't work on you, you still get the point. There is no need to be a prick about things that really aren't any of your business. Just because you don't hold the same beliefs as I do doesn't mean you can belittle me for the ones I have. I'm so tired of your opinions being the be all end all of things. The fact of the matter is your not any smarter then anyone else and stateing your opinons the way you do makes people hostile towards you ( ... )

Two aunts, an uncle, a grandfather and a cousin, actually. Other than heart disease it's one of the only things left that seem to actually be able to take people when it's their time in this country. As someone who was prematurely diagnosed with probable brain cancer a few years ago, I think that I AM one to speak of such things whether you agree or not. Regardless of how often it's numbers are compared with AIDS and car accidents and the like, after looking at quite a bit of information on the physical, cellular process of cancer I concluded that a death from cancer would be a natural death, and such a perspective brought me some measure of comfort back when I had been told I had it ( ... )
