Congress passes the 'partial birth abortion ban' which bans all pregnancies after the first trimester. Bill is without a health exception. Clinton refused it twice while in office for that very shortcoming. It will be the first time in history that a safe, and sometimes neccessary, prescribed procedure will be banned. Judicial challenge expected.
Jeb bush pushes a piece of legislation through Florida's legislature, to prevent a bain dead woman who's been on a feeding tube for years from being taken off that tube. The woman's husband has been in battle with her parents forever. He had won a court injunction to have her taken off, but Bush saved the day!
