All you suckers graduated....
Ah. Nearly Fall. I love the Fall. Best season ever, for many reasons.
1. I like my Fall wardrobe so much more. I like wearing jeans and not sweating. I love my comfy
sweaters and my corduroy jackets.
2. I like close toed shoes. I hate painting and repainting my toes. So much bother.
3. I won't have to shave every the day. I can let it go a day and it won't be critical.
4. I love the start of a new semester. I love the clean slate. However, 2 weeks into the semester I'm usually wondering what on Earth I was thinking.
Today I bought some school things. I didn't intend to. I just went to shopping with my mom and mentioned I wanted to start looking for a daily planner; I'm really picky when it comes to them. I'm not entirely happy with the one I picked. The inside and contents are fine. The cover is black though. Black. How boring. So far I have resisted the urge to cover it in stickers. I also got my Dr. Grip pen; those things are so great. I got some fun highlighter/sticky flag thing combo. I'm not a fan of highlighting texts, but I'll do it in my notes. I'm always amused when I get a text that's heavily highlighted. I think some people believe that their marker is some magic device that enters info directly into their brain. Those flag dealies are fun though. I also got some erasable pens. I have lately become a HUGE fan of those. My client's mom gave them to me as part of an "end of year present". Those things are great for tests. I'm always the neurotic person who scratches things out 5 times. This way is much neater. I think professors prefer it too.Last week I got a new backpack. It's a notebook size messenger bag. It's very pretty, turquoise corduroy.
I'm very excited. Not that I will be when my first 9:30 class rolls around…
