Christmas in July

It feels like Christmas. Why you ask? Because today is THE DAY!!!
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince finally is available. So exciting. I ordered it from B&N, and I'm waiting for UPS. I was so excited last night I could hardly sleep, and went to bed early too. It was just like when I was little and could barely wait for Christmas. UPS could learn a thing or two from Santa though. Santa was always there when I woke up; I didn't have to wait around for him all day. But hopefully UPS will be here soon. Other wise I might be driven to go out and buy it. But I'll only do that if the situation becomes extreme. I was hoping to find out where I was on the route, but no such luck. And yes this sounds obsessive. My only plans for today are to read the book. That's all. So don't even ask.

I've been having weird dreams of late. This morning I had one in which I had to go back to 8th grade history class for half a year. So weird, especially since history was always one (strains ears at sound of car moving down the street) of my best subjects. What's stranger was that everyone in my class was there. It’s always funny when this happens, because half the class is their current 22 year old self, and the others are still 14 (since I haven't seen most of them since then). But there I was and Galusky was droning on about something, and it was about noon, and we had finished history for the day. I had turned to Erin Morris and was saying that I thought I really needed to leave; that class from 8 -2 wasn't really my thing. Then I realized that I would have to fake sick and wait for my mom to pick me up, so I decided against it. Then it dawned on me that at 22 I was my own legal guardian and walked out in the middle of his lecture. The rest of the class realized they could leave too, and did so. For some reason when I got out to the parking garage, one of my favorite authors was there, Jennifer Weiner. I have no idea about that. It was funny though.

That's all for now. I will be waiting for UPS….
