I have spent a great deal of time in Florida this summer, and when I was packing to come here I kept Tom Cruise in mind. However of the three DVDs I packed I have only watched one. That one is "Cocktail", the two I have yet to watch are "TAPS" and "All te Right Moves".
I watched "Cocktail" at least a month ago. I remember what I wanted to say about it after first watching it: I liked the goofy montage scenes in the beginning of the film, and I disliked the rest of the film.
Though I have been remiss in watching the films I had planned on seeing ("Knight and Day" included) I was able to watch "Top Gun" and "A Few Good Men" on television. "A Few Good Men" was still gripping. The only thing really worth noting is that the television version had Jack Nicholson say "girly" instead of "faggy". "Top Gun" was excellent, and I think this is because of that clip Mr. Ball and I watched of Quentin Tarrantino analyzing the ideas behind the movie. Everything he said in that clip was true. "Top Gun" is amazing.
