I watched Magnolia weeks ago. It is a very good movie. I would like to watch it again, but I don't know if I can find 3 spare hours in my schedule. Especially not with all the new Tom Cruise movies I have bought.
I watched The Color of Money. It was pretty good. It was refreshing to see Tom Cruise as a sort of antagonist. I don't understand why it only has a 6.something on IMDB. That's only a few tenths higher than Elizabethtown, which is probably the worst movie ever made. Probably.
Speaking of bad movies, I am just finishing up the third Austin Powers movie now. Tom Cruise makes an appearance. The opening cameos are the best part of the movie. The second best part is a person in a charmander suit running away from a Godzilla float. The rest of the movie is terrible. The things I do for Tom Cruise... This reminds me of how much I am not looking forward to watching Tropic Thunder.
Yesterday I went to see the Bluejays play the Mariners. The Mariners were winning until late into the game, and then the Bluejays came back. I was surprised that Toronto ended up winning. Toronto struck out enough batters that I would be able to get a free slice of pizza from Pizza Pizza, if I knew of any Pizza Pizzas near York. After the game Dustin and I went to Future Shop and BMV. Dustin got some tapes at Future Shop. At BMV he was looking for weather books (like he usually does) and he found a book on Canadian weather written by Chris St. Clair. I bought 3 movies: Collateral, Lions for Lambs, and Mission: Impossible. At the checkout I saw the cashier bagging Sub-Mariner comics. What a stroke of luck. I bought 6 of them. It was a very productive day.
