a pretty nice weekend
So yeah, last night was a ton of fun. After doin my lame stat lab, I met up with a good buddy of mine, Katherine and we got ready to go out. After throwin on my favorite dress, me and Kat along with Kris, Katie B, Marium, and Bridg headed to a frat party...not my typical scene, but it was fun none-the-less. There was a band so we got to dance a lot....and of course, there was free alcohol all around. Then we took a cab downtown and headed to Washington for more dancin. I got to dance with Chris and my gals and talked to the hot bar tender that calls me "Kirsten." It was some good times. I got maybe 5-6 hours of sleep before hauling off to Crackerbarrell at 10:30 am Sat to meet my mom and sis for an early brunchish thing. After eatin some good food, I ended up babysitting for the remainder of the afternoon. Babysitting was actually pretty fun today. The lil kid I was babysitting, Brooks, used to be a little monster....would jump on the piano, chase his sister around with a spray can of Raid, bite people, etc, but he's actually grown up quite a bit. He is such a cutie! We watched some cartoons, jumped on the trampoline (whhoo hoo!!! fun!!!), rode bikes (I almost wrecked....that whole thing about never forgetting how to ride a bike...so not true. I hadn't ridden in 2 yrs and didn't know what I was doing), played baseball and hide and go seek, made a robot costume with duck tape and a huge cardboard box (which then turned into a tv...then a house...then a dog house....), and chowed down on bagel bites. It was fun and I made some mulah. Later, Jesse and I made a random trip to the library...got scared shitless from some random buzzing alarm...left....and then got some Ba-Da wings. YUMM!!! Then we watched the Osbornes and both fell asleep for a coupla hours. Yeah-naptime! Then we hung out with Mike and Beth and sat around doing nothing in particular...just talking and laughing...listenin to music (played toxic about 50 thousand times) and ate and ate more junk food. Phew...what a long weekend so far. Tomorrow I have GOT to do some work. Working on that Italian composition and reading for Poli sci will be most painful. Girls just wanna have fun...grr! And now that it's 2:30...I think I'll head off to bed. I'm sleepy sleepy and I need the rest. Gnightie.
