New things
Hello all,
I know things have been quite quiet here the land of private type blogs.
As many of you might have seen on FB, I lost my job at the end of last month. Sadly, with that industry in the tanks, it has been quite hard to find a job. I have been looking outside of Oil and Gas. Trying for different analyst jobs and some writing gigs. These have all been dead ends. Without the exact job title, I am getting nowhere.
Then one day I was chatting with a friend who is very active in the quilt pattern world. This conversation was enlightening, to say the least. Couple this conversation with my Tech Writing Professor giving me a hug at the end of the semester, and the ideas start to flow.
I have discussed the idea of becoming a quilt pattern designer with a few people. One was less than helpful, to the point this person thinks they know what is truly best for me. The others are fully supportive.
Most of you know me and my passions. I have 2 questions to ask.
1. Should I go forward with this idea and create a venture?
2. If I do go forward, any suggestions on getting it started?
